A “significant distributed-denial-of-services (DDoS) attack” has been blamed for complications with the federal government’s online services portal myGov.
Government services minister Stuart Robert manufactured the assertion on Monday afternoon following thousands of Australians were being locked out although attempting to entry welfare services.
He reported that the significant site visitors was blocking end users from accessing the website, which had been current by Products and services Australia in excess of the weekend in preparing for the influx.
